Our Wedding

Welcome to our blog! We are NIK and Tricia and this is our planning for the big day. Well two big days with one big purpose! Thursday, June 2nd 2011 is our small big day and Friday, June 3th 2011 is the day we are sharing with everyone else. First we want to thank you for your support and encouragement through the years and second we want to invite you to take a look around and enjoy your self!

Here we go!!

Tricia here,
So I am excited and ready to get this thing moving.  NIK and I have finally decided on our goal budget for the reception (well he has and I said what ever you want because he's paying -wink-) and so I feel much better about getting started.  I have my dress budget (since me and my late great grand-pa are getting that) and now all thats left is honeymoon and housing as far as goal targets are concerned!

A while back Janet took my mind off some stress by informing me (yes informing... in that don't-argue-with-me tone) that she will be organizing my shower.  Much thanks and no complaints!

That is all I have for right now, minding that I am neglecting the last few paragraphs of my homework assignment.

OH! the plan is on Saturday to go get some color swatches for our color scheme and maybe get some of the supplies for making my baskets.

p.s. picnic theme

  1. Yay! And of course you can't host your own Bridal shower. Brides don't do that! It's the bride's Maid's duty, ect. So I suppose it's me and Tori and whoever you pick to have input.

You do get to pick when you have it though (unless you want a surprise day), the theme of gifts (kitchen stuff, bedroom stuff, whatever stuff, ect.), ect. so start thinking!

And I need a list of the people you want to be invited. Traditionally the Moms also invite people - the more people who show up the more gifts!
