AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

less than a week till we are married, and our mattress was due in .... days ago.  So for the second time we called to check on it.  From order date it will take a bout 10 days to arrive.  Came to find out they did not order it when we bought it, our order is sitting in limbo and I seriously doubt we will have any thing to sleep on when we go home that night. Livid does not begin to express my emotion toward the manager who did not do his job.  And the people on staff when we called cannot place the order we had to wait for today and hope that a manager with that authority is in to do it.  When one of the two people helping NIK that day was the individual who has to place the order.  The manager is lucky NIK is calling...



I have, thanks to Jenny, the bubbles tied, the bouquets wrapped and many other a task done.
Mom, Mommy Roxie and her friend  are taking care of the food and its organization, (and my grandma is bringing some of the cheesecake pies) so all we have to do is collect the chicken, bring the baked beans and the lunch meat.  Thats good news.

Jenny and Janet made nifty signs for the time line of the open house picnic reception!  They look great!

The fabric to alter the back of my dress as well an the bustle is done, A wonderful lady from my church, did my bustle and used a button exact to the ones I picked out for the bracelets NIK is making for me and him, so that was an AWESOME coincidence!

I my grocery shopping short of milk done for the next...... (excluding eggs and bread) three months... no joke, I am so pleased!  But man that took work and organization.

I have gotten some very lovely gifts from people and am quite sad I do not have my thank you cards ready so i can write the thank yous and send them.  That is one regret I have.  That and that I should be doing my school work.  I have a paper due Monday, and four little assignments due between now and the wedding day.... yeeeeeaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhh :(  I am just glad that I have time and Internet at work (on it right now) because my home has none.  there is just the limited time dictated by the sleeping baby as to when I get to do the said homework :)  There is more to the story, but this is all I will put for now.

Flowers!

So I bought some flowers (i feel i don't have to tell you but just in case, with how early it is YES THEY R FAKE) for my bouquet and the bridesmaids' They are pretty neutral so should work with the dresses they get, but JUST in case, i can exchange them later if needs be. So no one freak out ;) But i would pry just keep them anyway i have fake flowers ALL over the place as it is, more would be cool cause i could change my arrangements around (and I am too cheep and lazy to buy flowers for only that purpose of course)

Oh, we got the venue so that will be at the park, but on a Friday (To my moms distress, which i understand but i CANT stress about my shower for a week between the wedding and it, plus its evening and summertime, there are lets of daylight hours)  Sorry about traffic ppl, its a really informal event, come and go as you please and the "special" stuff will be a little later so as to insure the majority has arrived.

If you can't make it, anyone, but still want to celebrate, just let us know and we will find time to hang out! (we love you too! its not your fault we picked that day after all)

MY DRESS AND ITS TRAVELS!

So I ordered my dress the week of thanksgiving, they made it according to my measurements, and then it was shipped at like 4am my time from the factory (over in SHANGHAI China it was 5pm) then it went to and from a few delivery places that day and got on a plane 9:30pm (their time)  and flew over the big ocean to the California customs place... It spent 20 and 1/2 hours waiting for someone to tell it it was allowed to be a US citizen (hee hee) and is now traveling cross country to visit me :) It takes normally (HA this time of year riiiight) about 3 days for me to get a letter from southern Utah so we will see a package from California :) anyway, that is the adventure of my dress thus far

Things are happening!!!!

I found the dress that I want, I am getting it from the factory rather than an outlet so it is an amazing price, its close to my drawings and I cant really say more because the Mr. Man can read this if he so chooses :)

I mostly figured out the Cakes, I know who's making them and am 90% on the flavors and each size. (I have this nifty three tier stand and so am getting three cheesecakes to sit nicely on it)

I have all my fabric for my runners, figured out the boxes for my baskets (I need a few more actual baskets, borrowed or kept, thinking of going to a salvation army to look for some more)  I have the ribbon for my bubbles, just have to tie it on...

Overall I'm happy.  We are looking at apartments today!  Not planning on getting one till late April early May, but figured its good to think about it now.

We made our registry too!  Bed Bath & Beyond.  We are going to register at Sears or something too for the more "Manly" stuff -grins-  The registry information is on the side bar of this blog now :)

The date for the engagement pictures is set, I am heading out to get an outfit in a moment.  Julia -nudge nudge- should totally die my hair, I've had the boxes forever... -grin-

I have all of the supplies for making the table runners I believe.  And some of the fabric for the boxes..... I NEED a few cardboard boxes about 5-9in X 5-9in X 3-5in to make my nifty nifty baskets out of, BUT I don't have any yet... any one with any extras they are gunna recycle, please recycle them to the Tricia's Wedding Plant rather than the local system!
